This beautiful and somewhat rare variety of quartz gets its colour from traces of iron in the quartz.

It is part of the trigonal crystal system (which is a sub-system of the hexagonal crystal system)
Due to the iron inclusion in the quartz, when the earth does its thing the amethyst or smoky quartz is naturally heated within the earth and can turn into citrine.

Citrine can vary in colour from a vibrant amber to very light. It can be very yellow to brownish yellow, some are yellowish brown or an orangey iced tea colour.

It is great for boosting your confidence and self-worth. It is resonates well with bringing the solar plexus chakra into balance and alignment.

Citrine is naturally found in Brazil, Russia, France, USA, Spain, Scotland, Africa and Madagascar.

Why Crystals

Honestly. I don't know. They found me I guess.

On this journey I have continuously read and listened to people describing with great passion how they were attracted to crystals from a young age. I cannot say I was.

It was my journey with a curious draw to find our more about animal communication that drew me to crystals. In 2017 a friend told me that she was attending a week-end "Introduction to Animal Communication" course. I took a chance and with David's encouragement e-mailed them at the last minute. They kindly squeezed me in.
I enjoyed the class presented by Debbie Caknis (Zero Point Healing) so much that I signed up for her Quantum Sensory Healing course. In the notes of that course there was a short paragraph touching on crystal basics and how they can assist with vibrational healing. I was hooked. This is where my crystal journey began.

What set out as me wanting to purely adapt what I learn (as all courses on finds seem to be for humans) in order to help Beagles evolved into assisting the humans they choose to live with as well (and also other furry friends that aren't Beagles haha)

What is your crystal story? I would love to hear it.
